Spin-Off - Overview

Each innovative and seriously conceived idea will be supported, as it will be evaluated, by the Spin-Off team. Its potential will be assessed in an initial joint feedback session. Scientific and entrepreneurial funding programmes will be presented and the founders will be connected to suitable partners from the Humboldt-Innovation network. In the EXIST programme framework and for applications to the High-Tech Gründerfonds, Humboldt-Innovation can act as the official coaching partner.

Humboldt-Innovation is both, help-desk and partner. Its strategy is to accompany spin-offs from their initial conception to a possible future set-up or even a successfull exit. If any intellectual property based on academic research activity is involved and if the Humboldt-Universität holds any rights respectively, Humboldt-Innovation will seek equity in the spin-off in exchange.
