AvailabilityPlus

A growing number of enterprises is highly dependent on the availability and reliability of their IT-infrastructure. Value creation, competitive capacity and therefore the subsistence of the enterprise depends on the ability to transparently and efficiently manage the cost and utility side of the IT-infrastructure. In many cases business processes are not synchronized with the supporting IT and the added value of the IT-infrastructure is not clearly defined.

APlus captures and evaluates coherencies between blackout-certitude and employed ressources, by applying the transperent SHIP-IT method, developed by APlus. Potentials of optimization and value creation within the IT-infrastructure are identified, while enabling the enhancement of reliability and efficiency. Precise recommended actions are provided, making the SHIP-IT method a well-founded instrument for decision making in the field of highly available IT-services.

The APlus methodology of availability and reliability determination sets a new benchmark for accurately modeling, analyzing and scheduling IT-services. Seperately or in the past even disregarded factors influencing the reliability; like software, hardware, infrastructure, personal and IT-organization, are for the first time coherently evaluated and transparently displayed.

APlus is proud to announce the intensive collaboration with the Bureau of Security in Information Technology (Bundesamt für Sicherheit in der Informationstechnik - BSI).
